I recently took the BLS (Basic Life Support) class at Adventure Medics in Bend, Oregon, and I couldn't be more impressed--the instructor balanced deep clinical knowledge with a warm, approachable teaching style, patiently guiding us through CPR, airway management, and AED use while sharing real-world anecdotes. The highly interactive, hands-on format had us practicing chest compressions and ventilations on feedback-enabled manikins. Small class sizes ensured plenty of one-on-one attention, and the supportive atmosphere made it easy to ask questions, review challenging skills, until everyone mastered each component. Beyond certification, I gained a deeper understanding of BLS protocols and clear guidance on staying current with future renewals. Thank you Adventure Medics!

Adventure Medics are awesome! We use them for all of our wilderness first aid certifications for coaches. We also use their EMT staff at our events. So knowledgeable and friendly!

The people were very nice, but I am in the hospital with severe back problems, and their ambulances need better shocks. I was really hurting after my ride from all the extremely hard bumps, and being tossed around in the gurney. I had to get my pain meds and muscle relaxant right after ai returned to the hospital I am roomed in. I was unable to move because it was so bad.
