They're amazing. I was transported for a serious eye injury from Unity to Uams. I have a severe anxiety, ptsd stemming from an accident years ago. My blood pressure was 170 over 100 starting out, the the emt came and sat beside me and distracted and reassured me. It dropped my blood pressure to 143/64. NS has transported 2 of my children to ACH. One child is on the autism spectrum and the other is very sensory oriented. They showed up to our home once so fast I barely had time to say that the ambulance was on the way. My toddler was choking and couldn't catch his breath, they cleared his airway and took us to the ER so the drs could make sure there were no other instructions. They went above and beyond both times to make sure that my children were safe, comfortable and not scared. The things they do for the local community is also amazing. Heber Springs misses their service.
